YAU Zine Vol. 01
YAU ZINE is a project that compiles photos of daily events centered around YAU STUDIO into a Zine. Everything we see in our daily activities, such as the state of a messy table, the changing appearance of the studio due to various programs, people gathered at the salon and people working at YAU, today’s lunch, and the slight changes in the building seen on the way home, becomes an element that forms a rich “archive” when photographed with just an iPhone.
In YAU Zine Vol. 01, the focus is on “YAU TEN ’23” held at YAU STUDIO in Yurakucho Building, which closed on October 31, 2023. It consists of about 300 photos gathered from a total of 11 people using the studio, mainly documenting the activities in the studio and the changes in Yurakucho.
