YAU Monthly Zine

YAU Monthly Zine is a project to record and observe the ever-changing Yurakucho, compiling small daily events centered around YAU STUDIO in a zine. The messy tables, the daily changes in the studio due to various programs, the people who gather at the salon and work at YAU, today’s lunch, the slight changes in the building that you see on your way home…everything we see in our daily activities can be captured in a zine without thinking about it. Even a simple photo taken with an iPhone can become a rich “archive” in retrospect. This 0th issue, which aims to be composed of photographs taken by as many people as possible, contains 36 images selected from approximately 200 photos taken by 9 artists who use the studio.

A pop-up exhibition was also held at the entrance of YAU STUDIO to commemorate the release of issue 0.
