CIRCULAR CITY MARUNOUCHI: Garbage = Resources, Circulation Design
“Circular City Marunouchi: Garbage = Resources, Circulation Design” was a special exhibition held at GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi. The exhibition included a tour of the garbage chambers of the Marunouchi Building and Shin-Marunouchi Building, as well as filming and recording at recycling centers in Edogawa and Koto wards. Photography by Taisuke Koyama and Hana Yamamoto, which focused on the dynamic movement and intense detail that fills the space, and sound work by Hideki Umezawa, based on field recordings, brought a new perspective to the garbage/resource divide.
