YURAKUCHO ART SIGHT PROJECT Vol. 05

The YURAKUCHO ART SIGHT PROJECT is a public art initiative that transforms temporary construction walls and building facades into spaces for creative expression. The goal is to forge new relationships between the city and art. By presenting works developed through artist-led research directly within urban spaces, the project invites diverse perspectives and encourages spontaneous encounters between passersby and the artworks.
The project is directed by the artist collective “TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH,” which explores and practices contemporary photographic expression, this project has presented a variety of works since 2020 in locations such as the Shin-Kokusai Building, Shin-Tokyo Building, and Marunouchi Park Building. The fifth edition features works by six artists who have been active at YAU STUDIO – the creative hub of Yurakucho Art Urbanism YAU, located on the 10th floor of the Yurakucho Building from February 2022 to October 2023 (now relocated).
