YAU TEN
”YAU TEN” is the resulting exhibition of the YURAKUCHO ART URBANISM program “YAU” held in May 2022. Tokyo Photographic Research viewed the vast space of YAU STUDIO as a liminal space that emerged in the center of Tokyo due to the pandemic and economic and social changes on a global scale, and conducted a polyphonic activity to bring new perspectives to the city by gaining insights [INSIGHT] from staying [ONSITE] in this “place”. Over a period of four months, about 35 artists and 20 students researched and created works in Yurakucho and exhibited them in their studios and on Marunouchi Naka-dori Avenue, as well as in the streets, common areas of buildings, and vacant store spaces.
