This book is a compilation of a year-long research project on experimental photographic expression conducted by TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH. It includes interviews with six photography specialists, translations of six articles in English, a list of experimental photographic works consisting of approximately 320 works in 13 categories, texts by Taisuke Koyama and Jin Qiuyu, and a discussion between Shota Tsukiyama and Hana Yamamoto.
This book was produced as a result of the grant from the Ogasawara Toshio Memorial Foundation for Research and Study in the field of contemporary art for the fiscal year 2023. Not for sale.
