When we consider the act of “seeing” based on the perspective of fields and lines of sight, we realize that vision itself possesses a kind of physicality. Like playing a game of Twister, we use multiple image cross-sections to grasp a larger picture. To use perspective is also to construct a “front” of the image. Each of us carries our own line of sight perspective, and perhaps through adjusting it in relation to the field’s perspective, we individually create what is “the front” — this might be how we engage in the act of seeing.
