OGAWA MIYO
MY PLANET
I have been deliberately spending more time to move somewhere alone, perceiving it as a positive time to confront my anxiety. Especially when I take a car trip, the car feels more like a box, a wandering room that is disconnected from my daily life.
This work is a photogram and dashboard camera recordings of the time spent moving. A photographic paper placed on the passenger window shows the title “MY PLANET”and leaves traces of movements of the window. They are recorded by a dash cam as it’s triggered by the ignition switch. The act of photographing is reconstructed through driving, and archives the time of taking care of myself at the same time.
