X_CHANGE Vol.3 | JEAN-VINCENT SIMONET

“X_CHANGE – YAU International Urban Exchange Program” is a short-term residency program based at YAU STUDIO, inviting artists from overseas to conduct research, create work, and present their outcomes under the theme of “Urban Survey and Expression.”
Through interaction and collaboration within the studio, artists with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise share their perspectives and ideas, aiming to foster insightful, international creative collaborations that explore the contemporary condition of cities and the role of art today.

For the third edition, we welcome Jean-Vincent Simonet, a French artist who has just published Fashion Eye OSAKA with LOUIS VUITTON this summer. During his 10-day residency, Simonet will carry out extensive research and photography centered on the rapidly transforming Yurakucho area.
For the first time in this program, the resulting works will be displayed on the first floor of Marunouchi OAZO, opening the artist’s perspective to a wide audience of visitors.
