In contrast to the bird’s-eye view, there is a term called “frog’s-eye view.” Literally referring to a low perspective, as seen from a frog’s vantage point, it brings to mind a particular imagery — yet contrary to that stillness, the frog walks freely in front of the image, leaping as it goes.

Born in 1990. Currently based in Tokyo.
Received an MFA from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2016. Based on his interest in the transformation of vision and scale, he works with photography, video, and objects.
