KOJIMA KEITA
ON THE MOVE
Kojima creates unique works that explore the relationship between language, perception, and urban space by combining handcrafted lettering techniques with AR technology.
For this project, he researched office buildings and construction or demolition sites in and around Yurakucho—places where concrete changes in the city are taking place. He expressed the concept of this work using the phrase “ON THE MOVE,” referring to being in motion or transition.
By transforming language from “text” into “photography” as a visual language, he aims to bring new meaning to the city, shift how we perceive space, and generate new relationships between people and the urban landscape.
