OGAWA MIYO
OSAKA
When I was in junior high school, I used to walk through this area on my way to school.
Born and raised in Osaka, I’ve lived alongside this city my whole life. That’s why I began to ask myself—what can I express because of that connection?
The moment a photo is taken, it becomes the past. Photography is irreversible.
But the past, the present, and the future are undeniably connected.
The cityscape is constantly changing. The city is always in motion.
When I stepped into a construction site, I was reminded that it is people who shape the city—who build the future.
With memories from my student days, I returned to this place as a photographer, confronting it across time.
